Casio CTK 496

!±8± Casio CTK 496

Casio CTK 496 is truly a rare find, with 100 preset songs that can teach you to play the instrument with ease. It is a compact replacement for bulky pianos or organs and would surely become a part of your entertainment. It allows for a 12-tone polyphony, making it a more versatile instrument as you can play up to 12 keys all at the same time.

Compared to other electronic keyboards, the Casio CTK 496 keyboard has 61 keys: a very rare feature for such a very affordable price. Its 61 keys are full-sized and therefore would not be a problem for those who are just starting to learn how to play the instrument.

In my case, I was captured by the simplicity of this product and the very realistic piano sound effect that it is able to produce. Aside from this, I found out that its sound quality is comparable to other products of its kind, although it might not sound the same as a 00-dollar keyboard.

The use of a Casio CTK 496 is recommended for:

people who want to play their music in private or otherwise those who deem it necessary to have MIDI functions for their music playing everyone who wants to enhance their playing skills with the use of sound effects people who need an affordable yet fully functional electronic keyboard beginners who want to learn better and apply various synthesizing techniques

The features of this product include:

a song bank with a hundred songs that you can play along preset rhythms and tones auto accompaniment that you can use as you play the keyboard a headphone jack that allows you to play it even in a common area (such as dormitory rooms, apartments, or at home where other people might be disturbed with your music playing) a microphone jack that lets you sing while you play MIDI functionality

I find it satisfactory even if it does not come with a power cable upon purchase. It was quite easy to find one as the specifications meets the standards for its type. I might be making an overstatement here, but I am pretty sure that this keyboard can give you the ultimate family entertainment even with a tight budget.

The only problem that I encountered with this product is that it has no touch-sensitivity, however this does not make it any less effective in creating good quality sounds. I think I might just be overreacting, given that I have quite an experience with musical instruments. Since this is so, I would suggest this particularly to beginners, though I still think that even advanced keyboard players would find the Casio CTK 496 worth every cent.

The Casio CTK 496 keyboard can also run on batteries, and amazingly lasts long even with just 6 AA batteries. With this unit being lightweight and easy to use, I think that you can enjoy using this instrument as much as I do.
